“I am the true grapevine, and my Father is the gardener.
He cuts off every branch of mine that doesn’t produce fruit,
and he prunes the branches that do bear fruit so they will produce even more.
John 15:1-2 NLT
*
Remain in me, and I will remain in you.
For a branch cannot produce fruit if it is severed from the vine,
and you cannot be fruitful unless you remain in me.
“Yes, I am the vine; you are the branches.
Those who remain in me, and I in them, will produce much fruit.
For apart from me you can do nothing.
John 15:4-5 NLT

In the Old Testament…God is the owner of the vineyard.
Here He is the Keeper, the Farmer, the One who takes care of the vineyard.
Jesus is the genuine Vine, and the Father takes care of Him…
In the Old Testament it is prophesied that the Lord Jesus would grow up before Him
as a tender plant and as a root out of the dry ground.
Think how often the Father intervened to save Jesus from the devil who wished to slay Him.
The Father is the One who cared for the Vine,
and He will care for the branches, too.
