The word, praise, comes from the Latin for “price,” or “value,” and may be defined generally as an ascription of value or worth. To praise God is to call attention to his glory. Praise is fitting for what is the highest good, God himself.
In the past, November has meant a time to “give thanks,” “count my blessings,” maintain an “attitude of gratitude” with focus on the gifts from God. While not wrong, it’s the very least I can do amid so much persistent blessing. This year, I want to fix my attention on the Giver and not just the gift. I want to
