Proverbs 8:12-17 NIV
12 “I, wisdom, dwell together with prudence;
I possess knowledge and discretion.
“Prudence is defined, wisdom applied to practice;

13 To fear the Lord is to hate evil;
I hate pride and arrogance,
evil behavior and perverse speech.
“God’s people partake of the Divine nature,
and so have God-like both sympathies and antipathies.
They not only leave sin, but loathe it, and are at deadly feud with it.”
John A. Trapp

14 Counsel and sound judgment are mine;
I have insight, I have power.
15 By me kings reign
and rulers issue decrees that are just;
16 by me princes govern,
and nobles—all who rule on earth.[a]
Common sense is, of all kinds, the most uncommon.
It implies good judgment, sound discretion,
and true and practical wisdom applied to common life.
Tryon Edwards

and those who seek me find me.
Wisdom is knowledge applied.
Head knowledge is useless on the battlefield.
Knowledge stamped on the heart makes one wise.
