With your abilities, dreams and experiences, you are uniquely prepared for the opportunities God has planned for you.
And this is the point where some of us start to feel a little twitchy. God is offering us a chance for action. It’s easy to come up with excuses.
“I’m afraid.”
Fear overwhelms and poisons our minds. The only antidote is faith.
Do not fear, for I am with you.
Do not be overwhelmed, for I am your God.
I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you.
I will uphold you with my righteous right hand. Isaiah 41:10 Evangelical Heritage Version
So go ahead. Feel the fear but step out in faith anyway. If God says you can, you can!
For the Spirit that God has given us does not make us timid; instead, his Spirit fills us with power, love, and self-control. 2 Timothy 1:7 Good News Translation

“I’m not ready.”
When God brings the opportunity, you are.
Opportunity is said to only knock once, but Christ knocks – and waits for us to open the door.
