Some think that the sign maker would have written, “I can love for no reason,” but ran out of room. I suggest that Christ-followers have a reason:
Jesus replied, “The most important commandment is this:
‘Listen, O Israel! The Lord our God is the one and only Lord.
And you must love the Lord your God with all your heart,
all your soul, all your mind, and all your strength.’
The second is equally important: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’
No other commandment is greater than these.”
Mark 12:29-31 NLT

Thank you, Lord,
that you love me despite all of my faults and issues.
Lord, I ask that you help me to love my neighbors
with that same kind of love that you extend towards me.
Help me to see my neighbors through your eyes.
Show me practical ways that I can help them, and through that help,
then be able to show them the love of Jesus.
Help me to put aside my agenda, to simply love them,
to meet them where they are and to love them as You love them.
In Your name, I pray, Amen
