Speaking of Trouble…

Posted on July 5, 2019July 31, 2019 by Pam R

Sometimes when we get overwhelmed, we forget how big God is.
A.W. Tozer

“Give your entire attention to what God is doing right now, and don’t get worked up about what may or may not happen tomorrow. God will help you deal with whatever hard things come up when the time comes.
Matthew 6:34 MSG

God will not permit any troubles to come upon us, unless He has a specific plan by which great blessing can come out of the difficulty.      Peter Marshall

“Don’t worry at all then about tomorrow. Tomorrow can take care of itself! One day’s trouble is enough for one day.”
Mathew 6:34 J. B. Phillips New Testament

Never bear more than one kind of trouble at a time. Some people bear three kinds of trouble – the ones they’ve had, the ones they have, and the ones they expect to have. Edward Everett Hale

So do not worry or be anxious about tomorrow, for tomorrow will have worries and anxieties of its own. Sufficient for each day is its own trouble. Matthew 6:34 Amplified Bible, Classic Edition (AMPC)

Never go out to meet trouble. If you just sit still, nine cases out of ten, someone will intercept it before it reaches you. Calvin Coolidge

Refuse to worry about tomorrow, but deal with each challenge that comes your way, one day at a time. Tomorrow will take care of itself.”
Matthew 6:34 The Passion Translation (TPT)

Worry is the interest paid by those who borrow trouble.
George Washington

“So don’t be anxious about tomorrow. God will take care of your tomorrow too. Live one day at a time. Matthew 6:34 Living Bible (TLB)

Worry does not empty tomorrow of its sorrow. It empties today of its strength. Corrie Ten Boom

“So don’t worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will bring its own worries. Today’s trouble is enough for today. Matthew 6:34 (NLT)

Happiness comes when we stop complaining about the troubles we have and say thank you to God for the troubles we don’t have.

So do not worry about tomorrow. Let tomorrow worry about itself. Living faithfully is a large enough task for today. Matthew 6:34 The Voice (VOICE)

Dear God……I don’t ask You to make My Life Easier…but I ask You to Give Me Strength to Face all My Trouble. Amen

Yes, I know. It’s all the same verse. But at least for me it bears repeating, especially in different voices. I’m still learning to believe it… and live it.

Loved the same verse in different translations and quotes from people who have seen the importance of prioritizing “not worrying”. Worth printing out in special fonts an hanging on the wall!

Love this one, And as you said I also am learning to believe it and live it. Always trying to live in the moment and enjoy but much harder then it sounds.. These are great reminders.
