Your goodness and unfailing kindness shall be with me all of my life,
and afterwards I will live with you forever in your home.

“Goodness and mercy follow him always—”all the days of his life”—
the black days as well as the bright days,
the days of fasting as well as the days of feasting,
the dreary days of winter as well as the bright days of summer.”

For God loved the world so much that he gave his only Son

Dear God,
Thank you that you are our good Shepherd and we can trust you with our lives.
Thank you for your leadership and Sovereignty.
Thank you for your guidance and care in all our days.
Thank you that you restore our souls, give us peace,
and bring us hope in all of our tomorrows.
Thank you for your protection and strength that surrounds us like a shield.
Thank you that we never have to fear.
Thank you for your goodness and love that follows after us,
chases us, even when were unaware.
Thank you, Lord, that you trustworthy and able,
that you are our Refuge and hope.
In you alone is rest and peace.
We praise you for the assurance that we will dwell with you forever.
In Jesus’ Name, Amen.

On a personal note, my mother died yesterday, just one month shy of her 100th birthday. Although we had a sometimes-difficult relationship, we loved each other and we both loved God. She will be missed.
The choice of Scripture for this week’s blog is no coincidence. Heaven is real, and I will see my mother again. God is good. Now, and forever. Amen.
Pam, I’m so sorry. 😞 Praying for you. 🙏🏻
Awe Pam I am so sorry. Loosing a Mother is one of the hardest life lessons. As my Dad told me
As I lingered by my Mother’s casket at her funeral not wanting to let go, “We will see her again “ .
