Yesterday, when I felt good, I wrote out a prayer for my friend. But today I feel the Chronic Fatigue symptoms returning, so I will write another prayer – for myself.
“Lord, oh, no! Here it comes again! And there is so much I need and want to do! I can’t afford to be weak and tired; I have to be able to think! So many things need my attention. The house, the garden, the cats, the kids, my husband. And we travel to New York on Thursday! What if…
“But I’m forgetting, Lord, that You knew this would happen, that You know what will happen. You took it all into account when You planned my days. I can rest physically if I need to. I can rest entirely in You. You are sovereign above all the “ifs”. I trust You. I will trust You.”
