Good Investments

Posted on September 15, 2020September 13, 2020 by Pam R

Believe in the Eternal, and do what is good—
live in the land He provides; roam, and rest in God’s faithfulness.
Take great joy in the Eternal!
His gifts are coming, and they are all your heart desires!
Psalm 37:3-4 The Voice

Goodness is the only investment that never fails.
Henry David Thoreau

Look at each day as a chance to invest life into life.
A chance to share your experience
and deposit it into someone else’s conscience.
Each day is a chance to work miracles in the lives of others.
Jim Rohn

I think faith is the small mustard seed of opportunities every day.
For example, ‘Am I going to love this person?
Am I going to share my faith with this person?
Am I going to pray that little prayer?’
It really is a daily thing where you seize those
little mustard seed opportunities and then see what God does.
Mark Batterson

Give away your life; you’ll find life given back, but not merely given back—given back with bonus and blessing. Giving, not getting, is the way. Generosity begets generosity.” Luke 6:38 The Message

The fact that I can plant a seed and it becomes a flower,
share a bit of knowledge and it becomes another’s,
smile at someone and receive a smile in return,
are to me continual spiritual exercises.
Leo Buscaglia

Perhaps the greatest charity comes when we are kind to each other,
when we don’t judge or categorize someone else,
when we simply give each other the benefit of the doubt or remain quiet. Charity is accepting someone’s differences, weaknesses, and shortcomings; having patience with someone who has let us down;
or resisting the impulse to become offended
when someone doesn’t handle something the way we might have hoped. Charity is refusing to take advantage of another’s weakness
and being willing to forgive someone who has hurt us.
Charity is expecting the best of each other.
Marvin J. Ashton

Do something today that your future self will thank you for.
