God doesn’t live in a man-built temple.
“The God who made the world and everything in it, this Master of sky and land,
doesn’t live in custom-made shrines or need the human race to run errands for him,
as if he couldn’t take care of himself.
He makes the creatures; the creatures don’t make him.
Starting from scratch, he made the entire human race and made the earth hospitable,
with plenty of time and space for living so we could seek after God,
and not just grope around in the dark but actually find him.
Acts 17:24-26 The Message

God’s Message:
“Heaven’s my throne, earth is my footstool.
What sort of house could you build for me?
What holiday spot reserve for me?
I made all this! I own all this!”
God’s Decree.
“But there is something I’m looking for:
a person simple and plain,
reverently responsive to what I say.
Isaiah 66:1-2 The Message
He has chosen to live in a Spirit-made temple.
Anyone who loves Me will listen to My voice and obey.
The Father will love him,
and We will draw close to him and make a dwelling place within him.
John 14:23 The Voice
*
He doesn’t play hide-and-seek with us. He’s not remote; he’s near.
We live and move in him, can’t get away from him!
One of your poets said it well: ‘We’re the God-created.’
