Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything;
tell God your needs and don’t forget to thank him for his answers. Philippians 4:6 TLB
The same everlasting Father who cares for you today will take care of you tomorrow and every day.
Either he will shield you from suffering, or he will give you unfailing strength to bear it.
Be at peace then and put aside all anxious thoughts and imaginations.
St. Francis de Sales
Don’t worry—I am with you. Don’t be afraid—I am your God.
I will make you strong and help you. I will support you with my right hand that brings victory.
Isaiah 41:10 Easy-to-Read Version
It is not the cares of today, but the cares of tomorrow, that weigh a man down.
For the needs of today we have corresponding strength given.
For the morrow we are told to trust. It is not ours yet.
It is when tomorrow’s burden is added to the burden of today that the weight is more than a man can bear.
George Macdonald
Therefore humble yourselves [demote, lower yourselves in your own estimation] under the mighty hand of God, that in due time He may exalt you, casting the whole of your care [all your anxieties, all your worries, all your concerns, once and for all] on Him, for He cares for you affectionately and cares about you watchfully. 1 Peter 5:6-7 Amplified Bible, Classic Edition
What are you worried about? Try this: every time you begin to worry, pray instead.
Tell the Lord what’s going on and what you feel needs to go on.
Give him the details — your fears, your dreams, everything.
Then tell him that unless he comes through, you are in trouble.
In other words, put the burden on his shoulders. . . .
After a couple of rounds of prayer you will begin experiencing peace.
Charles Stanley, A Touch of His Freedom
Lord, when doubts fill my mind, when my heart is in turmoil,
quiet me and give me renewed hope and cheer.
