Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done. Philippians 4:6 NLT
Another thing the books said was that routine was vital to cats and that all things should be consistent. I was determined to follow that advice. In the beginning, when they were still getting only dry food, the usual feeding time was 4 PM. If the bowl was empty before then, they had to wait.
On day, about 3 pm, my husband remarked, “I think they are hungry.”
“Why do you say that?” I asked.
“Look,” he replied.
The kittens had pushed their empty food bowl into the center of the kitchen and were sitting neatly behind it, looking at me. Just looking at me, nothing more. I got up and fed them.
I know that I am not to fret,
But thankfully to pray,
For God, my loving Father, will
Meet all my needs today.
I know that I can confidently
Bring Him each request,
Anticipating that my Lord
Will give me what is best.
But do I do the things I know?
Do I sincerely pray?
I wonder what would happen
If I claimed this verse today.
