What would you do if you knew you could not fail?
Robert H. Schuller
That’s a hard question. Let’s tear it apart.
What would you do …
DO [verb]: perform an action, achieve or complete something, act or behave in a specified way
No matter what you do, work at it with all your might.
Ecclesiastes 9:10a NIRV
Whatever you do [no matter what it is] in word or deed,
do everything in the name of the Lord Jesus
[and in dependence on Him],
giving thanks to God the Father through Him.
Colossians 3:17 Amplified Bible
“Start where you are. Use what you have. Do what you can.”
Theodore Roosevelt
… if you knew …
KNEW [verb, past tense]: be absolutely certain or sure about something
And you can be sure that I am always with you, to the very end.”
Matthew 28:20b NIRV
… you could not fail?
FAIL [verb]: be unsuccessful in achieving one’s goal
No, despite all these things,
overwhelming victory is ours through Christ, who loved us.
And I am convinced that nothing can ever separate us from God’s love.
Neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons,
neither our fears for today nor our worries about tomorrow—
not even the powers of hell can separate us from God’s love.
Romans 8:37-38 NLT
What would you do if you weren’t afraid?
Sheryl Sandberg
‘Do not fear [anything], for I am with you;
Do not be afraid, for I am your God.
I will strengthen you, be assured I will help you;
I will certainly take hold of you with My righteous right hand
[a hand of justice, of power, of victory, of salvation].’
Isaiah 41:10 Amplified Bible
So, what would you do?
