But the Holy Spirit produces this kind of fruit in our lives:
love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control.
There is no law against these things! Galatians 5:22-23 New Living Translation

Faithfulness means “lasting loyalty and trustworthiness in relationships; the fact or quality of being true to one’s word, beliefs or commitments; steadfastness.” Trust in God’s faithfulness grows as it is experienced. And as trust grows, our own faithfulness grows, too. But it begins, as all the fruits do, with God.
When the Bible speaks to God’s faithfulness, the writer usually has some specific thing in mind: mercy, compassion, patience, strength, help with temptation.
Great is his faithfulness; his mercies begin afresh each morning. Lamentations 3:23 NLT
But you, O Lord, are a God of compassion and mercy,
slow to get angry and filled with unfailing love and faithfulness. Psalm 86:15 NLT
He will keep you strong to the end so that you will be free from all blame on the day when our Lord Jesus Christ returns. God will do this, for he is faithful to do what he says, and he has invited you into partnership with his Son, Jesus Christ our Lord. 1 Corinthians 1:8-10 NLT
God is faithful. He will not allow the temptation to be more than you can stand. When you are tempted, he will show you a way out so that you can endure. 1 Corinthians 10:13b New Living Translation
Then I will praise you with music on the harp,
because you are faithful to your promises, O my God. Psalm 71:22a NLT
A decision to trust, then, is based on our knowledge of God’s past faithfulness.
We learn to be faithful like babies learn to walk. Falling is only failing if we refuse to keep trying.
So take those baby steps: If you are faithful in little things, you will be faithful in large ones. Luke 16:10a NLT
Now may the God of peace make you holy in every way,
and may your whole spirit and soul and body be kept blameless
until our Lord Jesus Christ comes again.
God will make this happen, for he who calls you is faithful.
1 Thessalonians 5:23-24 NLT
