Isaiah 43:1-3 New International Version
But now, this is what the Lord says—
he who created you, Jacob,
he who formed you, Israel:
“Do not fear, for I have redeemed you;
I have summoned you by name; you are mine.
Remember? You are redeemed by Christ, you belong to God.
2 When you pass through the waters,
I will be with you;
Remember the Red Sea? “Do not be afraid and stand firm. The Lord will fight for you.”
and when you pass through the rivers,
they will not sweep over you.
Remember the Jordan? “Follow Him, since you’ve not been this way before.”
When you walk through the fire,
you will not be burned;
the flames will not set you ablaze.
Remember the fiery furnace? Do what’s right no matter what.
3 For I am the Lord your God,
the Holy One of Israel, your Savior …
Strengthen the weak hands,
and make firm the feeble knees.
Say to those who have an anxious heart,
“Be strong; fear not!
Behold, your God will come with vengeance,
with the recompense of God.
He will come and save you.”
And the ransomed of the Lord shall return
and come to Zion with singing;
everlasting joy shall be upon their heads;
they shall obtain gladness and joy,
and sorrow and sighing shall flee away.
Isaiah 35:3-4,10 English Standard Version
Now to him who is able to keep you from stumbling
and to present you blameless before the presence of his glory with great joy,
to the only God, our Savior, through Jesus Christ our Lord,
be glory, majesty, dominion, and authority,
before all time and now and forever. Amen.
Jude 24, 25
