Jenna was invited to go to Champaign over Memorial Day weekend to play bridge with some of her long-time friends. She agreed to go, figuring it would cost about $300. I felt that it was something she really should do, but with property taxes just around the corner, knew I couldn’t help her with the expenses.
Apparently, God thought she should go, too. On Saturday, she received a rebate check from her doctor’s visit: $200+. On Sunday, she counted her loose change: $70+. And on Monday, she received a Birthday check from her grandmother: $50. Enough, and a little over. Because God is not stingy.
I hope I remember this the next time I worry about money.
And my God will liberally supply (fill to the full) your every need according to His riches in glory in Christ Jesus.
To our God and Father be glory forever and ever (through the endless eternities of the eternities). Amen (so be it).
