For a couple of weeks now, I’ve been receiving emails, apparently from Blue Host, my service provider, that my domain name is expiring on September 9. The first problem is that the domain name listed is AFaithinProcess.online, not AFaithinProcess.com. I don’t recall ever purchasing a second domain name. I have consistently been renewing AFaithinProcess.com each May, the month I started blogging. I have never been billed for anything in September.
The second problem is that when I follow the prompts, there is no dollar amount, just options to pay (they have my credit card #), or activate autopay. I won’t authorize anything unless I know how much. I won’t pay for something that I’m not sure I bought, want or need. They will release that domain name (.online, not .com) unless I renew it.
I believe that this is a scam, but I don’t know for sure, and I don’t know what is going to happen. I just wanted you to be aware of this situation. And I am closely monitoring my credit card.
This is the Lord’s blog. He is in charge. This will sort itself out, but right now, it’s a waiting game. But I guess that pretty much describes much of life, doesn’t it?

Anything that is not in normal – contact the actual provider about it and forward any communications to them. I have had too many freinds fall prey to scams, even recently. They are on the lookout as they have all our data from the breaches that have occurred.
