We’re not waging war against enemies of flesh and blood alone.

and against wicked spiritual armies that lurk about in heavenly places.

“Enemy-occupied territory—–that is what this world is.
Christianity is the story of how the rightful king has landed,
you might say landed in disguise,
and is calling us all to take part in a great campaign in sabotage.”
C.S. Lewis

but are powered by God and effective at tearing down
the strongholds erected against His truth.
2 Corinthians 10:3-4 The Voice

Pray always. Pray in the Spirit.

And keeping all this in mind, pray on behalf of God’s people.
Keep on praying feverishly, and be on the lookout
until evil has been stayed.
Ephesians 6:18 The Voice

I have told you these things so that you will be whole and at peace.
In this world, you will be plagued with times of trouble,
but you need not fear; I have triumphed over this corrupt world order.
