There is a right time for everything.
Everything that we do on the earth has a proper time.
There is a time to be born,
and there is a time to die.
There is a time to plant seeds.
There is a time to pull the plants out of the ground.
Ecclesiastes 3:1-2 Easy English Bible
*******
Years ago, I was given several lily of the valley plants. I put them in the corner under the dining room window. They should like it there shaded by the lilac bush.
Apparently, no one puts lilies in the corner. As time went on, the plants crept out of the corner, around the lilac bush and on top of several other flowers. Now they were all mixed together and none of them looked happy. Just messy.
What I am aiming for is a garden that is neat and low maintenance. The lilies would have to go as well as the entangled coreopsis and columbine. It was time. I pulled them all out of the ground.

If only it were that easy to uproot old habits or practices when they no longer serve me.

it’s an undo-it-yourself project.”
Abigail Van Buren
A lot like unwanted plants in the garden.
