O Eternal One, You have explored my heart and know exactly who I am;
You even know the small details like when I take a seat and when I stand up again.
Even when I am far away, You know what I’m thinking.
You observe my wanderings and my sleeping, my waking and my dreaming,
and You know everything I do in more detail than even I know.
You know what I’m going to say long before I say it.
Psalm 139:1-4a The Voice

“What matters supremely, therefore, is not, in the last analysis,
the fact that I know God, but the larger fact which underlies it –
the fact that He knows me … I am never out of His mind.”

It is true, Eternal One, that You know everything and everyone.
You have surrounded me on every side, behind me and before me,
and You have placed Your hand gently on my shoulder.
It is the most amazing feeling to know how deeply You know me, inside and out;
the realization of it is so great that I cannot comprehend it.
Psalm 139:4b-6 The Voice

“The great news is that God knows everything about you,
both good and bad,
and He still loves you and values you unconditionally …
nothing you do will ever cause God to love you less … or more.
His love is a constant you can depend on.”
Joel Osteen

God knows what each one of us is dealing with.
He knows our pressures. He knows our conflicts.
And He has made a provision for each and every one of them.
That provision is Himself in the person of the Holy Spirit,
indwelling us and empowering us to respond rightly.
